My Experience with Coursera:
As you all know, I’m a passionate blogger and I love to share my knowledge and experience with you. However, English is my second language and because of this, I wasn’t good at speaking this language. Although, I write well so my readers can understand me.
So, to test Coursera and improve my English, I took a linguist course on Coursera- English for Career Development. This 5 unit course was for 5 weeks and every unit has 10-15 videos lectures, quizzes, tests, and reading contents. The course was very good and it also gives you Notes making and discussion forums features. As the content was good and interesting but some pages were lazy load.
After this course, I took again a course on Business Email Writing to improve my formal email language. Being a blogger, I have to send emails to my subscriber, so I found it worth doing. This 4 unit course was for 4 weeks that teaches me exactly how and when to write formal, mixed, and informal emails.
One thing about the content that I like most in Coursera is, it takes quizzes and tests during video lectures that help you to concentrate better in class.
Others’ views about the Coursera:
You can find thousands of reviews on Coursera courses. Even, you also get reviews and ratings for all single courses in Coursera. Look at the reviews and ratings of the English for Career Development Course that I have done.

It also gives the opportunity to teachers to build online courses on their preferred topics. However, Udemy offers you only certificate courses, not degree courses like Coursera.
- Skillshare: Like the name sounds, Skillshare courses help one to learn and develop new skills in Animation, Graphic Design, Photography, Leadership, Marketing, and more. You can also pursue any courses in Business, Technology, and lifestyle.
- Udacity: Udacity is not a gigantic e-learning platform like Coursera and Udemy but it is doing great in the leading fields like AI, Autonomous Systems, Business, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and more. It doesn’t have a universities degree program, but it has made its own program that they called ‘Nanodegree’.
